Letter from the Pastor
Grace and Peace to the Body of Christ in Tiffin!
This month we continue our Lenten journey thought the barren desert wilderness. This is a spiritual journey of letting go of what does not serve God in our lives, getting back to fundamentals of compassion, and learning more about Love.
You may notice a few changes in our Sunday morning worship as our liturgy takes on the flavor of this liturgical season. There will be more space for silence and reflection, prayers will be shorter, and sermons will highlight wisdom from Christian mystics of the past and present including; the Desert Fathers (3rd century), Rev. Cynthia Bourgeault (present), Brother Lawrence (17th century), Teresa of Avila (16th century), Francis Weller (present).

These changes are meant to offer you a nourishing space in which you can more easily let go of the many distractions of our daily lives and focus on the fundamentals of Loving God, neighbor, and self.
As we continue on our spiritual journey through Lent, let us remember that we travel together with a great cloud of witnesses who will help us draw closer to God, the Source of Love.
Also, just a reminder that we are offering Holden Evening Prayer at 5pm on Wednesdays throughout March. Unlike previous years, however, a meal will not be offered.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Peace be with you.
Pastor Karsten
